With only one event weekend left in the 2018 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda, ArmsUp Motorsports is already working hard on their
2019 program. Set to run two cars at the annual Chris Griffis Open Test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in September, ArmsUp Motorsports has
openings for their 2019 campaign.
"The Chris Griffis Test snuck up on us this year with the date change from October to September,"
explained Gregg Borland. "It is not a problem for our team, but we need to finish 2018 strong all while building our driver lineup and team for 2019.
It also provides drivers with an opportunity to get on track at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway."
With rides available for either one
and two-day programs, ArmsUp Motorsports will offer full package programs with entry fee, tires, equipment and engineer during the Indy test. Complete
2019 race season programs are still available.
Borland continued, "The test provides drivers with a lot of track time and is most suited for
competitors looking at a 2019 season in the USF2000 Championship, or karters making the transitions from karts to cars. With live timing and all the
personnel and functions of a normal race weekend, our drivers will run alongside the Pro Mazda and Indy Lights competitors as the complete Road to
Indy program will be on the docket."
While 2019 is just around the corner, ArmsUp Motorsports has not ruled out the option of expanding their
program. Researching a possible expansion to the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires or a potential addition of a third car to their
USF2000 fleet, the Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin based program is committed to the Road to Indy.
The Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by
Mazda next event weekend is at the Portland International Raceway in Portland, Oregon during the first weekend in September.
