Portante and Dayson to Race with ArmsUp Motorsports in 2014
As the calendar year draws to a close, ArmsUp Motorsports has signed two of their four drivers to contest in the 2014 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship powered by Mazda. In the first and only triple header race weekend of the race season, the ArmsUp Motorsports team faced their share of adversity to earn the team's first top-five finish of 2013 in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda. Successful HAWK Vintage Weekend for ArmsUp
Participating in one of the largest vintage auto racing events of the year, ArmsUp Motorsports closed out July with a strong weekend at THE HAWK and the Milwaukee Region SCCA Luau Cat National at Road America. The Wisconsin based team ran three cars and five drivers in seven races during the four day weekend. ArmsUp Earns First Top 10 Finishes at Toronto
Last weekend in the streets of downtown Toronto, ArmsUp Motorsports earned two top ten finishes in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda. The results marked a season high for the Wisconsin-based team with drivers Felipe Donato, Timothy Paul and James Dayson. ArmsUp Motorsports Ready for Night Before the 500
After nine weeks since the last USF2000 race event at St. Petersburg, Florida, ArmsUp Motorsports will compete this weekend in Round 5 of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda at Lucas Oil Raceway. The Wisconsin-based team spent the break testing on ovals and road courses in preparation for the "Night Before the 500," a night of racing for the drivers in the Mazda Road to Indy. Saturday, May 25th, Lucas Oil Raceway will host three races: The USF2000 Championship, Pro Mazda Championship and USAC Midget Series. Read More
ArmsUp Motorsports Gains Momentum in St. Petersburg
After a successful season opener at Sebring International Raceway earlier this month, ArmsUp Motorsports journeyed to St. Petersburg, Florida this weekend for Rounds 3 and 4 of the USF2000 Series. All fairly new to the Mazda Road to Indy race series, the four young drivers of the Wisconsin based team, Felipe Donato, Timothy Paul, James Dayson and Andrew Hobbs, performed well all weekend, taking time to learn the track as well as the race cars. Today ArmsUp Motorsports officially announced the team's return to the 2013 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship powered by Mazda. The Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin based team will start the 2013 season at Sebring International Raceway next week with a four driver lineup. ArmsUp Motorsports Scores Second Straight SCCA Runoff's Gold
They say once you get the first victory, the rest come much quicker. For ArmsUp Motorsports that old adage appears to be true. Just one year after scoring their first SCCA National Championship Runoffs gold medal in the Formula Continental (FC) class Jerry Szykulski repeated Revere Greist's feat with a dominant performance in the 2012 version of the Runoffs. Szykulski paced two of the three qualifying sessions before going on to the race win in his Rotary Systems backed Van Diemen. Joining Szykulski on the podium was ArmsUp Motorsports driver Brian Belardi who raced to a third place finish in the annual Fall event. Jim Victor took the third ArmsUp entry to a sixth place result after starting from the ninth position. Read More
