ArmsUp Motorsports Continues USF2000 Program with Tests at Mid Ohio and Lucas Oil Raceway
ArmsUp Motorsports spent the better part of last week traveling between the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio and Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis as the Cooper Tires presents the USF2000 Championship Series powered by Mazda, holding back to back series tests in the Midwest. At Mid Ohio Luigi Biangardi and James Dayson were behind the wheel of ArmsUp prepped Van Diemens. Biangardi continued his early season form posting the quickest time in second of four sessions. Dayson, a National Class driver, made a lot of progress over the two day test in his debut for the Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin based team. From Mid Ohio the ArmsUp Crew made their way to Indianapolis where Biangardi made his oval debut at Lucas Oil Raceway. The driver of the Inject-It/Gulfstream Properties/Slick Locks/Chicago Indoor Racing car spent the single day test getting acclimated to the famed short oval.

Biangardi Shows Speed on the Streets of St. Pete
Luigi Biangardi and ArmsUp Motorsports proved that their performance in the opening rounds of the Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 Championship Series Powered by Mazda was no fluke. On the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida last weekend Biangardi was once again a threat at the sharp end of the grid, scoring a fourth place result in race one. Bad luck would once again keep the Inject-It/Gulfstream Properties/Slick Locks/Chicago Indoor Racing driver from scoring his first podium of the season as contact while racing for third ended race two prematurely for Biangardi and his ArmsUp Motorsports team.

Biangardi Scores First USF2000 Championship Series Pole for ArmsUp Motorsports at Sebring International Raceway
Luigi Biangardi made the Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda paddock stand up and take notice that the Chicago native and his ArmsUp Motorsports team are going to be a force to reckon with in 2012 by setting the fastest time in three different sessions. Biangardi put his No. 15 Inject-It/Gulfstream Properties/Slick Locks/Chicago Indoor car on pole for the opening round of the USF2000 Championship during the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. The pole was both his and ArmsUp’s first in the USF2000 Championship. After being crashed out of race one Biangardi was forced to start from 35th on the grid for race two and put in a spirited drive to ninth in the ten-lap affair. ArmsUp Motorsports’ National class driver Bobby Kelley added to the successful weekend by scoring a third and fifth in his USF2000 Championship debut.

Mazda Road to Indy Scouting Combine Winner Bobby Kelley Joins ArmsUp Motorsports for USF2000 Season-Opener at Sebring
Talented young Californian racer Bobby Kelley will drive for ArmsUp Motorsports in the opening two races of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda at Sebring International Raceway, Fla., on March 15-16 – his prize for winning the inaugural Mazda Road to Indy Scouting Combine last December.

ArmsUp Motorsports is proud to announce that the 2012 Cooper Tires USF2000 Winterfest National Class Champion James Dayson has signed on to compete in the full Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda in the National class. The Vancouver, British Columbia based driver will pilot the No. 16 Dayhu Group of Companies/Me & Lewis Ideas Inc./Regal Beagle Bar & Grill Van Diemen for his campaign in the National category.

ArmsUp Motorsports driver Luigi Biangardi is proud to announce that Slick Locks and Chicago Indoor Racing have signed on as associate sponsors for Biangardi's 2012 Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda effort. Biangardi Shows Strong Form in Opening Rounds of the Cooper Tires Winterfest
ArmsUp Motorsports driver Luigi Biangardi had a solid week during the opening round of the USF2000 Cooper Tires Winterfest held at Sebring International Raceway. The Cooper Tires Winterfest is the USF2000 Championship Series' pre season championship that runs over one week in Florida and has two different events. Over the two day opening event Biangardi drove his Injectit.com/Gulfstream Properties/Slick Locks backed Van Diemen to an eighth and a pair of sixth place finishes in the three races.

Luigi Biangardi and ArmsUp Motorsports Complete Successful Test at Roebling Road
ArmsUp Motorsports and Luigi Biangardi completed a successful test last week at Roebling Road just outside of Savannah, Georgia. The test served as a shakedown for the first of the team's Mazda powered USF2000 cars as well as ArmsUp's first opportunity to work directly with Biangardi.

Luigi Biangardi first to join Championship Winning F2000 Team ArmsUp Motorsports for 2012 USF2000 Season
ELKHART LAKE, Wis. – ArmsUp Motorsports, fresh off winning the 2011 SCCA Formula Continental National Championship, has signed Luigi Biangardi to lead their Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda effort for the 2012 Season. Biangardi, a 15 year-old, will pilot the ArmsUp Motorsports prepared Gulfstream Properties, Inject-it.com backed No. 15 car in his quest to claim the 2012 USF2000 National Championship.
2012 will mark Biangardi's first full season in the USF2000 Championship after gaining experience with a limited schedule in 2011. The Chicago teenager was quick to make an impression on the series regulars by scoring a season best fourth place result at the Baltimore Grand Prix. Biangardi will look to build on that experience to contend for race wins from the start of the season. Before entering the Mazda Road to Indy Biangardi competed in the Skip Barber race series scoring multiple regional series wins and claiming a fourth place finish at Road America in his lone Skip Barber National Championship event. ArmsUp Motorsports announces Entry into USF2000 Championship
ArmsUp Motorsports, the reigning SCCA Club Racing National Champion team have announced their intentions to enter the USF2000 Series Championship in 2012. The team, which ran the 2011 Winter Series and select USF2000 races over the last two seasons, is set to enter the Mazda Road to Indy ladder system full time in 2012.
The team is currently in negotiations with several different drivers and is aiming to have their driver lineup finalized shortly after the start of the New Year. The team is also currently searching for talented mechanics for the 2012 Championship.
